Before I founded Home Team, I grew my career in corporate America. I worked my way up from a mail-room temp worker to Vice President and Executive Board Member. Along the way, I discovered Salesforce.
After leaving the corporate world, I founded Home Team to help businesses with strategic planning and process improvement. One of my first clients was looking for a CRM to manage their sales, so I introduced them to Salesforce. I earned my first certification, and my business model changed.
I’m thankful for my corporate experience in relating technology to business strategy, because it prepared me for my all-time favorite role: helping you succeed with Salesforce.

I've been designing enterprise-level systems for over 25 years. After my start in the mailroom of a financial services organization, I rose through the ranks to learn software development and lead a team of app developers.
I transitioned to a healthcare company, where I took a leadership role in implementing HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and accreditation, until the CEO asked me to lead the managed care division as the Vice President. I also served on the executive board, and my work led to significant increases in both revenue and profit margin.
My last corporate project was a big one: consolidating five divisional IT departments into one cohesive, organization-wide department.
Over the last fifteen years, I've focused on the Salesforce ecosystem. My corporate experience prepared me to help make meaningful changes for my clients. My certifications speak to the depth of my expertise, but it's my clients’ success that drives me.

After graduating from the University of Iowa, I went backpacking around the world, studying Salesforce along the way. I was in Peru when Covid hit. It was weeks before I could get a repatriation flight back, but I used that time to learn even more about Salesforce.
I’ve earned 4 certifications so far, and I’m continually working on more. I love working for Home Team because every project is different, so the work is always interesting. Even better, I get to meet a lot of people, learn about their daily work, and hear their stories. When working with nonprofits, I get to learn about their different missions and see what a difference they’re making in the world.
